Welcome to Week 13 of SEC Soccer Predictions 2022! It’s Thanksgiving week and the last weekend of the regular season. It’s also Rivalry Week with several of these competitions involving SEC teams.
Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving Day! As always, thank you for visiting us here at FBSchedules.com. Let’s go picking!
Thursday 24 November 2022
State of Mississippi (7-4, 3-4 SEC) at No. 20 Ole Miss (8-3, 4-3 SEC)
7:00 p.m. ET | Oxford, MS | ESPN
I hope everyone is ready for Lane Kiffin’s take on the impromptu Les Miles 2007 SEC Championship Game press conference after Kirk Herbstreit broke the news that Miles would be traveling to Michigan that same day, on GameDay. Kiffin will show up at the stadium on Thursday afternoon with a toothpick in his mouth and cute aviator sunglasses in front of his eyes. Juice will be by his side with a turkey and dressing hangover. Lane will reach into his pocket and pull out some stale popcorn. He will then face the camera and tell us with determination and intensity that he wants to coach a “damn good football team”.
Twenty minutes after the end of the game, Lane and Juice will be on a plane to Auburn to discuss pressure-treated pine. He will arrive just in time to take the team to Tuscaloosa.
PREDICTION: Ole Miss 41, Mississippi State 31

Friday 25 November 2022
Arkansas (6:5, 3:4 SEC) with Missouri (5:6, 2:5 SEC)
3:30 p.m. ET | Colombia, MO | CBS
Missouri isn’t that good, but they’re not that bad either. Arkansas is just dealing with too many injuries. The Tigers win this year’s fight for the trophy “Whatever Trophy They Give To The Winner Of This Game”.
PREDICTION: Missouri 31, Arkansas 27
—
Florida (6-5, 3-5 SEC) at #19 Florida State (8-3)
7:30 p.m. ET | Tallahassee, FL | ABC
How about a little Noles Gators to finish off Black Friday? With the United States taking on England at the World Cup and the Seminoles set to take on the Gators, FSU fans are hoping this will mark the start of a new era of Gator dominance.
PREDICTION: Florida State 37, Florida 13

Saturday, 11/27/2022
Georgia Tech (5-6) on #1 Georgia (11-0, 8-0 SEC)
noon | Athens, GA | ESPN
Georgia finishes the regular season 12-0. Again. LSU expects the Dawgs next Saturday in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.
PREDICTION: Georgia 31, Georgia Tech 0
—
South Carolina (7-4, 4-4 SEC) on #8 Clemson (10-1)
noon | Clemson, SC | ABC
South Carolina was flogged by Florida, who was flogged by Vanderbilt the same Saturday as the Gamecocks whipped up hope and prayers from Tennessee. They’re close to finally beating Clemson, but Death Valley will be too much the Beamers.
PREDICTION: Clemson 31, South Carolina 23
—
#25 Louisville (7-4) in Kentucky (6-5, 3-5 SEC)
3:00 p.m. ET | Lexington, Kentucky | SEC network
It’s basketball season in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Get ready for tons of trash talk from every fan base as they discuss the upcoming season at a soccer game.
PREDICTION: Kentucky 27, Louisville 17
—
Auburn (5-6, 2-5 SEC) on #8 Alabama (9-2, 5-2 SEC)
3:30 p.m. ET | Tuscaloosa, AL | CBS
This season’s Iron Bowl will be dramatic. When not on the field, it will at least be interesting to see what happens on the Auburn touchline. Cadillac Williams will be head coach for this game, but will Lane Kiffin lurk in the shadows with dreams of ass chewing and sugar bowls dancing in his head?
Will Alabama be able to bring enough energy to match what Cadillac has put into the Auburn program? If that game were on the road, Auburn’s caretaker coach would have a big win on his young resume. Because it’s in Tuscaloosa, I think home field will be just enough for Alabama to walk away with a win and another 10-win season under Nick Saban.
PREDICTION: Alabama 28, Auburn 24
—
#5 LSU (9-2, 6-1 SEC) at Texas A&M (4-7, 1-6 SEC)
7:00 p.m. ET | Baton Rouge, LA | ESPN
LSU has a chance to do something very special in Brian Kelly’s first season in Baton Rouge. Remember the first week of the season when I wrote, “Les Miles and Ed Orgeron won national titles at LSU. What makes you think Brian Kelly won’t do well at LSU?
Spring. How about a trip to Atlanta in his freshman season and a shot at the college football playoffs with a win over A&M this week and Georgia next week? It’s not likely, but neither were LSU’s chances of winning against West.
PREDICTION: LSU 21, Texas A&M 13
—
#10 Tennessee (9-2, 5-2 SEC) at Vanderbilt (5-6, 2-5 SEC)
7:30 p.m. ET | Nashville, Tennessee | SEC network
Hendon Hooker is done for the season with a cruciate ligament tear and the Vols’ hopes of a college football playoff berth were mobbed last Saturday night in Columbia, South Carolina.
I know it’s a little silly to think Vanderbilt will win just because they won two games in a row while Tennessee is trying to convince itself to take the overall positive picture of the 2022 season, but Vandy is around a corner gone. And the Vols will have to be careful not to run into the straight edge of the same corner on Saturday night in Nashville.
PREDICTION: Vanderbilt 34, Tennessee 31
