Crimson Tide dominates the NFL in 2022 with 6 players on All-Pro teams

If you sit down to watch NFL football on any given Sunday, chances are you’ll see a former Alabama Crimson Tide player making a difference.

In addition to recruiting the right players, Nick Saban has proven his player development is second to none and he has turned Tuscaloosa into an NFL factory. The Tide has sent 41 players to the NFL via the first round of the draft during that time, including a first-round pick in 14 straight years, with no end in sight.

Josh Jacobs led the NFL in 2022 with 1,653 rushing yards. Despite missing the playoffs, Jacobs will be a free agent this summer and likely heading for a massive payday. There is no word on whether or not he will remain in Vegas.

The Jets’ defense was arguably the best in the league this year, led by Quinnen Williams. Williams had 55 tackles in the year and finished 11th in the NFL with 12 sacks, which is crazy considering his focus is on the inside.

At just 22, Surtain is arguably the best corner in the league and can count on him to completely wipe out half the field. Surtain had 60 tackles, 10 passes defended and two interceptions. However, it’s difficult to come up with statistics when no one is pointing in your direction.

Minkah has always played chess while everyone else plays checkers on the soccer field. The Steelers Ball Hawk is tied for the Lead League with six in interceptions and is on a Hall of Famer trajectory.

As always, Jalen Hurts proves everyone wrong and achieves his goals. The Eagles quarterback led them to the NFL’s best 14 wins, level on points with the Kansas City Chiefs. Hurts was the MVP pick before missing a few games late in the year through injury. But with Hurts starting, the Eagles only had one loss.

Along with Quinnen Williams, CJ was a tackle machine in 2022 with 158 on the season. He hasn’t forced many turnovers, but as a quarterback on the Jets’ defense, their success comes and goes with him.
