Rivalry week is finally here as the SEC is set to end the 2022 college football regular season. It begins Thursday with the annual Egg Bowl featuring Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
The annual non-conference games feature state rivals for the Florida Gators, Kentucky Wildcats, Georgia Bulldogs, and South Carolina Gamecocks. The state’s conference list of rivals has Vanderbilt-Tennessee and Auburn-Alabama in the annual Iron Bowl matchup.

The remainder of the games will include encounters with Arkansas-Missouri and LSU-Texas A&M. Vanderbilt, Missouri and Auburn all need wins to qualify for the bowl. That would mean 13 of the 14 teams in the conference would be eligible to play in the postseason. Only the Aggies were officially eliminated.
