Over the years there have been a number of Alabama players who have entered the NCAA transfer portal. Some of them have retired their names and decided to return to the Crimson Tide. On the other hand, others have since left for new programs.
In this case, there are several former players who are still competing at the highest level elsewhere. Tyrell Shavers, Taulia Tagovailoa and Camar Wheaton were once touted high school dropouts. Each of them originally signed with Alabama before entering the transfer portal to create value for themselves on various programs
