ART ADAMSON INVITATION
With so many fall invitations happening last week, it was easy to miss all of the fast racing that was happening at the Art Adamson Invitational. Relive the second and third nights of the meet in the following race videos.
Highlights included a successful 200 back/200 fly double courtesy of Alabama’s Rhyan Whitea third personal best from Texas A&M rookie Baylor Nelson and national-leading times from USCs Kaitlyn Dobler (56.94 100 chest) and Victor Johansson of Alabama (14:39.63).

Alabama fifth year Rhyan White scored a 200 Fly PB of 1:54.36 to cap her tough 200 Back/200 Fly Double:
Texas A&M duo Alex Sanchez (1:51.09) and Andres Puente Bustamante (1:51.14) achieved the nation’s top 200 chest times this season with their narrow 1-2 finish:
Defending champion of LSU Brooks curry blasted a 41.86 to win the 100 Free by nearly a full second, ranking fourth fastest this season behind Jordan Crooks (41.29), Gui Caribe (41.44) and Josh Liendo (41.70):
Texas A&M rookie Baylor Nelson threw down his third PB of the meet in the 200 back (1:41.17) to drop 0.14 seconds from his previous best and behind junior teammate Ethan Gogulski, who just finished from his national lead was back to finish second 1:39.98 from the prelims:
Alabama Rhyan White brought her NCAA lead time in the 200 to 1:51.53 on the front end of her 200 back/200 fly double:
Alabama’s Victor Johansson shot 14:39.63 to win the 1650 Free, taking the NCAA best by a comfortable margin and breaking a school record that had stood since 2006 (14:48.25 set by Mark Randall):
LSU Graduate Transfer Maggie McNeil opened Thursday’s final session with the fastest 50-fly split to date (21.85, lane 2) during the 200-medley relay, beating out Gretchen Walsh’s unsuited 21.91 in October’s Virginia-Florida doubles meet became:
Reigning National Champion Kaitlyn Dobler of USC dominated the 100 breast with a national-leading time of 56.94, a new season-best just 0.01 seconds from their PB by NCAAs in March:
Alabama’s Charlie Hawke and the Air Force’s Wen Zhang both broke 1:32 in the 200 free to take the top spot in the country twice so far this season:
Texas A&M rookie Baylor Nelson clocked an impressive 3:38.39 to lead Aggie by the top four spots in this final:
Texas A&M rookie Guilia Goerigk drove to a win at the 400 IM, posting a 4:05.75 that ranks as the second fastest time in the country this season behind Virginia senior Ella Nelson (4:03.61). :
