Hammond, La. – The Southland Conference football team, Southeastern Louisiana University, will host an NCAA FCS playoff game, the Southland Conference volleyball team, Lady Lions, will figure out their NCAA tournament goal, while the SLU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be in Southeastern during the week Athletics continue to play outside of the conference.
Southeastern (8-3) will make his fifth trip to the FCS playoffs and his third in the last four seasons. The Lions host Idaho (7-4) Saturday at 6 p.m. at Strawberry Stadium. Saturday’s winner meets sixth-placed Samford on December 3 at 2 p.m. in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Lady Lion (25-7) volleyball team secured their ticket to their first-ever trip to the NCAA tournament by winning the Southland Conference Tournament. SLU will find out their postseason opponent and target on Sunday’s selection show at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
The SLU men’s basketball team (3-3) will return home after a five-game road swing in which the Lions defeated Wyoming and Campbell. Southeastern will meet William Carey at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the University Center. Fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from their favorite Lions after the game.
The Southeast women’s basketball team (2-2) has two games scheduled this week. The Lady Lions open the week en route, traveling to South Alabama for a competition Tuesday at 7 p.m. SLU returns home Friday at 7:00 p.m. to receive Dillard. Taylor Dupree is the game’s Spotlight player, and the first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring a native of Brandon, Mississippi, courtesy of PRIDE.

Saturday’s soccer game and Tuesday’s women’s basketball game will be televised on ESPN+. The SLU soccer game vs. Idaho can also be heard live on the Hammond area on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM).

The hour-long show, hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, provides the latest information on Lion Football.
Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as host for the remainder of the season and the show will air Mondays at 7:00 p.m. until the end of Pour House’s season.
