JO’ is the rousing new single from French-Algerian DJ and producer MOH GREEN in collaboration with award-winning US rap star of Moroccan descent FRENCH MONTANA and Nigerian breakout star 1DA BANTON.

As the lead single for Moh Green’s highly anticipated Just Now EP, due out next spring, “JO” is afro-club banger in true Moh Green fashion, and it’s also the perfect example of how Moh’s pan-African vision is translated into expressed in a song that will take listeners to the four corners of the world.

From France to the USA to Nigeria and in between Algeria and Morocco, “JO” celebrate the cultural diversity that Moh Green seeks to promote through his music.

Produced by Moh Green and Nour, the global music offering is a dance floor smasher, fueled by lush drums, synths and flute arrangements, urging the listener to lose all inhibitions and dance, like the song’s title ‘JO’, which means ‘dance’ in Yoruba .

It comes with a fun and engaging music video shot in Miami and Paris by Marseille-based creative team Red Out Black, who have collaborated with French stars like MRC, L’Algerino and Soso Maness and have amassed over a billion views their scene-stealing music videos.

On the inspiration behind “JO”, Moh Green says: “My goal with this song is to musically fuse our different cultures – French Montana, 1da Banton and myself. My message has always been to export African music all over the world, without borders – this song ‘JO’ is a continuation of that message brought to life.

My mantra in life is to do things now, hence my upcoming project is titled Just Now and that led to the creation of this song. We just wanted to make it possible and didn’t let the distance between us as artists get in the way.”

With performances in over a thousand clubs worldwide, from Miami to Rio de Janeiro, Montreal, Shanghai to Dakar, Moh Green is one of the most influential Afro club DJs in the world.

His influence in the club scene is also spreading to the music landscape across Europe and Africa, where he has amassed over 250 million plays online, has collaborated with the likes of Sean Paul, French Montana, Fally Ipupa and Runtown and has received critical acclaim MTV and AFRIMA. The French-Algerian native is preparing his new project for 2023, with “JO” giving a taste of what’s to come.
