RICHMOND, Va. (November 21, 2022) — Five CAA soccer teams are ranked nationally in the latest regular season statistics by Stats Perform FCS Top 25, while four are included in the AFCA Coaches Top 25.

William & Maria (10-1) rose to No. 6 in the stats rankings and stayed at No. 8 in the AFCA rankings after his 37-26 triumph at nationally ranked Richmond last week. The Tribe, who received the No. 5 seed and a first-round bye in the FCS playoffs, is absent until December 3 when they face either Gardner-Webb or Eastern Kentucky in the second round.

Richmond (8-3) fell to No. 13 in the stats poll and No. 14 in the AFCA poll after his setback against William & Mary. The Spiders are back in action on Saturday as they entertain Davidson in the first round of the FCS playoffs.

Elon (8-3), who was out last week, is ranked 12th by Stats and 15th by the AFCA. The Phoenix is ​​headed for the first round of the FCS playoffs, visiting Southern Conference’s Furman on Saturday.

New Hampshire (8-3) climbed to No. 15 in the stats rankings and No. 16 in the AFCA rankings after beating Maine 42-41 in overtime last Saturday. The Wildcats host Patriot League’s Fordham in the first round of the FCS playoffs.

Delaware (7-4) fell to 23rd in the stats poll and received votes in the AFCA poll after last week’s 29-26 loss at Villanova. The Blue Hens host Northeast Conference champions St. Francis (Pa.) in the first round of the FCS playoffs.

Rhode Island (7-4) is among the other teams to earn votes in both polls after capping their season with a 35-21 win over UAlbany last week.
