Video: Some flakes in northern New Hampshire for the day of travel
Thank you for joining us. Storm Watch and me. And weather on the internet. Thanksgiving holiday right here. Big travel day for many tomorrow with dry roads. The exception in the northern part of the White Mountains through the great northern forests here maybe *** dust, maybe *** half an inch of snow with occasional snow showers, so maybe *** a bit slippery far north. Otherwise dry central and south into morning nice and light and cool thanksgiving and even early friday morning friday afternoon some showers moving towards mixing far north with more rain likely on sunday. It looks the heaviest in the afternoon and night, and once again it may just be cold enough to mix things up in the northern part of the state. As for the likelihood of a snow shower in the north, it’s starting to approach from eastern parts of Ontario and southwestern Quebec, and it really doesn’t come until the early hours of the morning. So if you travel all evening, it looks good overnight too. Central Southern New Hampshire 20’s to very low 30’s. A great looking travel day for many tomorrow, particularly the Lakes region faces south, better chances of a few passing snow showers north where highs elsewhere will be in the mid thirties. Very close to where we were in the forties on Tuesday, Thanksgiving is looking pretty good too. Lots of sun, no precipitation, light winds and temperatures a *** few degrees of the norm for this time of year. As for Friday, here comes the changes, increasing clouds but dry at least midday, some isolated showers coming in the afternoon and evening, noticing in the White Mountains. Great North Woods might be damn little messed up, so roads might be damn tricky. Far north during the Friday evening through Saturday time frame, windy conditions from the northwest but plenty of solar temps averaging slightly above by *** a few degrees and this will set the stage for *** rainmakers. On Sunday you will find winds from the south-east well above freezing so mostly rain although there could be ***little mix far north and then all wraps in ***mix or snow in the mountains up Monday morning. In addition, Monday will be fairly windy with snow showers in the north, dry and light and windy elsewhere. season on Tuesday.
